mr woodhall im not in your applied class but.......how do we know if a rectangle is a rectangle. it was a question on our test review and i dont no how 2 answer it
A rectangle has four 90 degree angles. To prove it is a rectangle you need to find slope of all 4 sides . Opposite sides must be parallel, in other words, same slope. Adjacent sides must be perpindicular, in other words, slopes are negative reciprocals.
