Bob and Stefan are sitting atop a hill (obscure for Winnipeg, I know) and decide to roll down. They roll down with a Net Force of 25. What they don't realize is there is a crate with tentacles protruding out of it near the bottom of the hill with three five year olds trying to push it. Their efforts offer a miniscule 15N. So the question is: What will happen when Bob and Stefan collide with the crate and the five year olds with it? Will they push the crate back and smoosh the five year olds, ultimately thwarting their efforts? Or will Stefan and Bob just smack into the crate, lag the five year olds and get really nasty headaches?
Answer: Stefan and Bob get really nasty headaches, but take down the five year olds anyhow. 25-15=10. Oh look, we've grasped simple subtraction. Obviously the five year olds are crying, and their tentacled beast will never reach the top of the hill.
